Sociology Society, SSS, HKUSU devotes to organising different activities to enhance people's awareness and knowledge of sociology. Sociology is not a merely theoratical subject, but is closely pertinent to daily life. Therefore, our society hopes to introduce real examples in daily life to encourage students to think from a sociological perspective and apply the sociological theories to their daily lives. Our society hopes that through the study of sociology, students can think using a macro and critical point of view in face of the challenge of globalisation.
